Joshua Hergan is an associate with the Firm.  His practice focuses on  regulatory and compliance counseling for the broker-dealer and investment advisor industry.  Josh also handles  corporate transactions, including the representation of venture capital firms in equity financings and providing general corporate advice to emerging companies.  Josh represents clients in state court as well as in arbitration proceedings administered by FINRA in connection with a variety of commercial and securities issues.

Josh received his J.D., with honors, from New York Law School in 2006 with a focus on Corporate and International Finance Law.  Throughout law school, Josh served as the Vice Chair of the Corporate Law Society and Chair Person for the Center of Professional Values and Practice.  Prior to law school Joshua worked at Neuberger Berman as a registered representative providing investment advice to high net worth clients.

Josh graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado in 2001 with a B.S. in Economics.  Josh was admitted to the Bars of New York and New Jersey in 2007, and was admitted to the Bar of Illinois in 2008.  Josh is a member of the New York Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
