Stockholm - Judge Holdman lectured at the Swedish Crown Prosecutor’s National Conference, Aklagardagarna

Heidelberg Germany - addressed the US Army JAG Corps (the Army's lawyers) Officers deployed to Europe & The Middle East. 

Ontario - has twice been the keynote speaker at The Ontario Crown Prosecutor's Annual Conference.

Mexico - Judge Holdman was engaged by the Department of Justice for Proyecto Diamante, a joint project assisting Mexico to transform its entire criminal justice system.

Regularly lectures to the Judge Advocate General Corps of the four branches of The United States Military on Ethics, sexual abuse, child abuse and domestic violence.

 

Hon Robert Holdman

Judge Holdman is a retired Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York having presided in Brooklyn, Bronx and Westchester County.  His practice now focuses on Mediation as well as general business and securities litigation. Additionally, he advises clients regarding ethics and compliance issues and serves as a Monitor and Ethics & Compliance consultant for businesses.

Prior to being appointed to the Bench, Judge Holdman served fourteen years with the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, his last position being Chief Trial Counsel in the Child Abuse/Sex Crimes Bureau.

Since leaving the Bench, Judge Holdman served as General Counsel, North America to The Rilin Group, a multi-national Chinese conglomerate.  The Rilin Group has subsidiaries around the world engaged in international shipping, import/export, real estate development and construction. He has served as the Ethics & Best Practices Consultant for The Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office and The New York State Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs; served on The Executive Advisory Committee of The National Center for Judicial Security based in Washington D.C. with The United States Marshal Service, United States Department of Justice; served as a member of the Board of Union Community Health Center/St.Barnabas Hospital and he is currently on the Boards of Monsignor Farrell High School and The Michael J. Armstrong Memorial Foundation.

Judge Holdman is an alumnus of Monsignor Farrell High School, a 1986 alumnus of Fordham University, and a graduate of Fordham University Law School (1991).
